Please note that the PlantGeneWiki is a community resource and everyone is free to contribute.
You are allowed to browse the project contents anonymously.
If you want to add/edit the content, you must log in so that the community knows you and project administrators can contact you in case of conflicts and deliberations on some specific data content.
If you contribute by adding/editing the PlantGeneWiki content including the gene pages, because you love to share your knowledge with everyone and advance the science and research, you are basically publishing every word you typed and saved for instant online access by everyone, without restrictions.
A list of your contributions is always available to everyone (including yourself) on your user page.
Your name will always appear on pages you add/edit, as well as in the editing history of respective page(s).
Except your user name, your email address and any other personal information gathered from you will not be shared/distributed to a third part and will be kept private.
All contributions to the PlantGeneWiki may be edited, altered, or removed by other contributors or the project administrator based on the following:
